Have a great weekend, my dear readers. Here are this week’s picks:
Gluten-Free/Celiac Information
Alek’s Controllable Christmas Lights for Celiac Disease
Better Education for Celiac and Gluten Sensitive Patients
Better Education for Celiac and Gluten Sensitive Patients
Food (not necessarily gluten-free but adaptable and/or inspirational)
I just treated to myself to several minutes of nice, quiet time by checking out all these links. 🙂 A few I'd seen before (or knew of), but it was good to see them again … that tiger hug for example. I remember seeing the guys on Oprah and being amazed at the story. The Vikki Petersen article shows that so much more needs to be done. However, I would disagree with her opening statement that the effect of celiac and gluten intolerance/sensitivity are well understood. Perhaps they are by her, but not that many in the medical field. If they were well understood, we would not have only 500,000 of 3 million celiacs diagnosed currently. Still, I appreciate her ongoing work and awareness efforts. Finally, I'll never understand those who cheat on the gf diet though.
Thanks, Linda!
