Spring is here, and this week I want to remind you that eating in-season produce is always the best choice, along with eating local produce. Farmers’ markets are opening, CSAs are starting up, and soon there should be an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables to choose from.
Depending on where you live, the following are in season during April, May, and/or June (this list is not exhaustive): asparagus, beetroot, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, celery, garlic, leeks, lettuce, onions, rhubarb, spinach, spring onions, and strawberries.
