These salmon balls are an easy, tasty, appetizer, or they can be served for dinner instead of salmon cakes. They are easy to cook since they are baked rather than fried. Just pop them in the oven and 20 minutes later they’re done. Serve with homemade tartar sauce or remoulade sauce.
While these salmon balls are not typical football food, you might consider making them for the Super Bowl next week. They will add a little variety for those who aren’t fond of the usual foods.

This is a delicious recipe. I have used the same one for fried salmon cakes except I use chopped onion, and add a little bit of sugar. Now I will try them baked! They are great made ahead of time and taken in lunch box and reheated at office too. Thank you.
Linda, this is such a great recipe using canned salmon- I’m obsessed with making something similar as patties but need to try this out! Cheers!
For this recipe to work out, were your cans of salmon the little 6oz ones or the large 14.5oz ones?
