These paleo apple recipes are moist and delicious and lightly sweetened with honey. They’re a great way to use fall apples and enjoy a healthy treat without a ton of sugar and carbs.
You don’t have to eat paleo all the time to enjoy paleo recipes like these. Simply enjoy them as gluten-free food. One thing I like about paleo baking (with almond flour and coconut flour) is that I don’t need to add any gum to keep baked goods held together. The results are also usually moister than similar recipes made with other gluten-free flours.
There aren’t many fruits that I really like cooked, but apples are one of them. I’ve been enjoying getting fresh organic apples in my CSA box in recent weeks, and it’s so easy to chop up an apple and throw it into some muffins, bars, or coffee cake. And if I’m using organic apples, I often leave the peel on.

These all look great Linda! If I get some time I’m really wanting to try your apple bars and coffee cake… and apple crisp… well… all of them actually! Thanks for the recipes 🙂
I love apple deserts especially apple pie. Do you have a recipe for pie crust that’s low carb?
Sorry, but no. I don’t have a low carb crust. I’m sure there are some good recipes out there if you do a search.
