Glutino Sea Salt Crackers Review & Giveaway

Linda Etherton

I’ve been a fan of Glutino’s original crackers for some time.  They’re a good go-to cracker when I need something for a party that will go well with a variety of toppings.

Recently, I was sent some of Glutino sea salt crackers to try.  It’s a good thing they sent two boxes because my gluten-free son ate one box before I knew it, without saving even one cracker for me to try.  (His reasoning was that there was another box.)  So that gives you his opinion.  He loved them!

The sea salt snack crackers are a thin crisp cracker with plenty of flavor.  I’m not sure if it was the variety of seeds or the soy sauce, but they do have a distinct flavor.  It’s probably a combination.

These crackers contain sesame, flax, quinoa, and amaranth seeds, which can be seen by the dark flecks in the crackers.  Unfortunately, they also contain soy sauce.  Since I try to avoid soy, they aren’t a cracker I would buy regularly, but if you like the flavor of soy sauce as well as a seed-rich cracker, you’ll love these.

You can find out more about Glutino’s sea salt crackers including all the ingredients and the nutrition label on their web site.  You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Where to Buy:  I have seen many stores carry Glutino products.  You can use the Locate a Retailer feature of their web site to find a store near you, or order Glutino Products on Amazon.

I have tried one of their products. It was a cracker we ate with soup and it was a parmesan cheese flavor. I can not remember the exact name of the item. This brain can be scary at times. 🙂 Thank you for the giveaway!

I have not tried to mancy Glutino products because my local store only carries a limited supply of gluten free products but I really like the chocolate sandwich cookies they taste better than oreos IMO.

We have just started on a gluten free journey and would LOVE to try these. They would be most delicious with soup and/or salad! This would be a great opportunity to try something that must be wonderful if your son ate the entire box 🙂

Thank you for this opportunity and also for the wonderful information about this product.

  37. LisaW says

    04/13/2013 at 7:27 am

Probably a stupid question since nobody else asked yet. How can they be GF if they have soy sauce? Isn’t soy sauce made with wheat?

    • Linda Etherton says

      04/13/2013 at 3:52 pm

Lisa, a lot of soy sauce does contain wheat, but not all. Glutino uses a wheat free tamari soy sauce.

  38. Genie says

    04/13/2013 at 8:03 am

I’ve never tried the crackers. I used to buy the Glutino pretzels until the price went beyond what I could justify for “junk food.”

  41. Katie says

  42. laura says

    04/13/2013 at 12:54 pm

We have a limited supply of Glutino products locally but everything I have tried is great. I use the bagels frequently for my bread and love them but I think my favorite may be the pretzels as everyone in the family looks for them when they are around. My grandsons will pick the glutino pretzels over their pretzels anyday!!!

  43. Jeanne says

    04/13/2013 at 3:29 pm

I love and eat all sorts of Glutino foods. I liked the “old” pretzel sticks better than their new recipe, though. I would enjoy trying these new crackers.

I’m still new to this gluten free stuff- I need to win these and any other foods that I can – it is all so costly -especially since we live pay check to pay check and my husband is on social security disability. I usually coupon to save and shop places like save a lot and aldi but there are no gluten free items like this there.

  54. Gina Cobb says

I would love to win some glutinous crackers. I haven’t tried them yet but have been seeing your brand in my supermarket . Being new to the gluten free world I’m finding that products are a bit expensive. I would love some free samples or coupons if that would be possible. This way I could try your products and see if I like them before I make the investment. Thank you
