Hi everyone!  Happy August.  Thanks for stopping by and participating in Gluten-Free Wednesdays.  I love seeing what you all link up each week.  It’s a great resource for people who are looking for gluten-free ideas.

Sugar-Free August: Would you like to join me in going refined sugar free for the month of August?

Monthly Theme: The theme for August is grilled food.  The theme is just a suggestion, not a requirement, but I do look for theme related recipes to highlight each week.

Last Week’s Highlights:  Here are the last of the zucchini highlights.

Vegan Zucchini Sauté – Avocado Pesto
Grilled Stuffed Zucchini – The Rice of Life
Zucchini Parmesan – The Liberated Kitchen
Grain Free Zucchini Blossoms – Real Food Forager
Low Glycemic Zucchini Muffins – Skinny GF Chef

My Submission:  This week I have a snack idea that you might enjoy while watching the Olympics.

Peanut Butter Pretzels

If you get this post by email, remember to click over to the site later in the day or sometime tomorrow to see what great ideas have been gathered here.

Hi Linda!! Thanks so much for highlighting my Low Glycemic Zucchini Muffins. It always a thrill to be appreciated by great cooks, like yourself. I don’t have anything to share today, it’s been too hot to cook in Florida, but I wanted to say Hi, and see you soon! hugs, Ali

Oh boy, those Peanut Butter Pretzels do look like a yummy snack! This week I’m sharing my favorite new sandwich, a Caprese Panini, very similar to Starbucks Roasted Tomato Mozzarella Panini. Thanks for hosting and enjoy those tasty looking pretzels while you watch the Olympics 🙂

I’m linking Crab Cakes today — they’re easy and so family-pleasing! Besides being GF, DF and sugar-free, they can also be grain-free or nut-free depending on whether you use almond flour or breadcrumbs.

Thank you for hosting! I’ve linked a recipe I’m super excited about. It is Easy Strawberry Mousse, and it’s GAPS, egg free, nut free, dairy free, and sugar free. A special technique makes it thick and luscious without allergens.

Hi Linda–Happy August! I’ve linked up my Bacon Chicken that’s gluten free, dairy free, and divine, but so easy to make. 🙂 Don’t know why I didn’t link it up last night. I think posting several posts in a row close together makes me get my days and weeks confused and cause me to have a hard time remembering if I have something to link up. 😉 Anyway, I want half the recipes shown in today’s roundup right now … thanks for hosting!
