Oh, yum! I love your take on hummus!
I shared another chickpea creation: homemade falafel. While traditional falafel are fried to make them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these are grilled.
Thank you for hosting this link-up. It’ll be fun to come back to see what all is shared.
Thanks for hosting! I shared food science information on soaking beans.

Hey Linda!
Thanks for providing this great blog and for hosting your blog carnival. I’m new here and am excited to explore your posts and your links. I’ve shared my most recent favorite muffin recipe…Strawberry Orange Muffins. They are so quick and easy to make. They are kind of like having a little dessert for breakfast. Enjoy!
Hi Melanie! Thanks for saying hello and participating in the carnival. Your muffins sound good.
Hi Linda! I’ve got strawberries coming out ears, so lots of playing with different things! I figured out a tasty way to make my own strawberry yogurt with much less sugar than the store bought, made strawberry syrup for pancakes, several new recipes….next is going to be a low sugar jam!
No recipe from me this week, but I had to stop by and see what everyone else came up with.
Hi Linda,
Hope you’re having a good week!

Be well!

I just happened to have a strawberry recipe today – maybe because I have a million strawberries!
Hi Linda,
Even though it’s summer, we had a cool day recently so I made this Chicken Mushroom Rice Bake for dinner. It’s an old favorite that I finally converted fully — the sauce was all that needed converting since it had been a canned condensed mushroom soup. Making my own sauce wasn’t hard, and it can be more allergy-friendly, too, not just gluten-free but casein-free, egg-free, nut-free, etc.
Have a great week!
Pat
So many yummy looking recipes this week! Thanks for hosting…I linked up my strawberry cornmeal shortcake recipe! Definitely checking out your hummus and last week’s almond flour shortcake too!
Hi Linda! Made some yummy strawberry cherry smoothies so I thought I’d share. Thanks for having the GF Wednesday section for all of us to enjoy!!
