It’s hard to believe February is here, especially since we have had an unusually warm winter here in Maryland. Occasionally it gets cold enough for soup, which is our theme this month.
I’m looking forward to seeing all the great recipes, tips and ideas you all link up this week.
If you get this post by email, remember to click over to the site later in the day or sometime tomorrow to see what great ideas have been gathered here.
Giveaway: Don’t miss this week’s Saffron Road giveaway. Five winners will receive 5 free product coupons. There aren’t a lot of entries, so your chances of winning are good.
Monthly Theme: This month’s theme is soups and stews. I intended to share with you a potato soup recipe last month, but since I didn’t get to it, it fits with this month too.

Thank you for hosting! I shared my Green Chia Smoothie and Cranberry Muffins recipes this week. Have a wonderful day!
I made a new version of salmon cakes last week that I’m sharing. Thanks again for the technical advice!
Linda,
I love the presentation of your soup. It looks so good. I linked a recipe for a easy and healthy guacamole dip for the Super Bowl Game this Sunday.
Thank for highlighting my potato soup recipe! (Of course, yours looks so much more decadent. I bet my kids would love a bowl of that!)
Today I shared a crock pot recipe for venison stew. To take the gaminess out, just add a cup of red wine to the pot… delicious.
Hi Linda, Thanks for hosting. I brought Maple roasted Beets and Apples with Rosemary. I hope you have a great day.
Linda, I’m being totally obnoxious and linking up four posts. Hope you don’t mind. I have done that many since last Wednesday and they’re all applicable to Gluten-Free Wednesdays! 🙂
I’m totally on board for soups and stews for February. Probably won’t link up one until after my Valentine’s Day event though. Until then, I’ll enjoy everyone else’s. 😉 There already look to be some amazing ones here, as well as many other great recipes!

I LOVE the soup theme! You know, last month was National Soup Month!
Today I shared my Roasted Pumpkin Soup topped with Prosciutto and Crisp Sage. It is Dairy-Free, Grain-Free, GF, Refined Sugar Free and complies with SCD and Paleo!

Hi Linda,
I just posted up to a very easy dessert– roasted pineapple! I’d think it’s pretty kid friendly and easy to toss leftovers into many different dishes.

Oh! I put my soup up last week! Shame I didn’t make it a week later! I’ve shared my post about Turmeric this week with a simple Dhal recipe – does that count as a stew? Have a lovely week!
Hasn’t really seemed like winter here in Nebraska either. But that hasn’t kept us from eating soup. We love soup! This week I included an oldie but goodie, my slow cooker veggie chili. Bob reminded me I haven’t made that yet this year so I feel a big pot of spicy veggie goodness coming on.
Oh, yes, soup sounds delightful right now! But I’ve linked up my Chocolate Zucchini Wake Up Smoothie (must be followed by something warm!) 🙂
I’ve enjoyed the potato recipes this past month. Potatoes are among my husband’s favorite foods. They’re also in my link today, an easy dinner recipe — Ground Beef Hash.
Sorry I haven’t made it over here to Gluten-Free Wednesdays much these days. Just a combination of new kids and lambs and life in a large, busy family ;).
Lots of great ideas here! Thanks everybody who linked up :).
