Hi, and welcome to Gluten-Free Wednesdays, a blog carnival of gluten-free eating ideas.
If you get this post by email, remember to click over to the site later in the day or sometime tomorrow to see what great ideas have been gathered here.
Giveaway: This week Jovial pasta is offering a giveaway. Be sure to enter and check find out how you can receive a free sample.
Monthly Theme: December’s theme is chocolate and I’ll be looking for 5 or 6 chocolate recipes to highlight each week. I’m particularly interested in fudge recipes, but any chocolate recipes will fit the theme.
Last Week’s Highlights:
Chocolate Pecan Pie with Pecan Crust – Premeditated Leftovers
Raw Almond Butter Truffles – The Nourishing Home
Dark Chocolate Peppermint Fudge – Quick and Easy
Coffee Cinnamon Protein Brownies – Beyond the Peel
Peppermint Patties – Gluten Free Shortcuts
My Submission: This week I’m submitting a recipe that uses sweet potatoes in a way that’s different than usual.

Your Sweet Potato Pone looks wonderful!
Hi Linda,
Today I’m sharing my favorite way to stay healthy during the cold and flu season – #10 Want to Stay Healthy? – Bring on the Heat! is a homemade concoction that my family of seven never goes anywhere without.
Thanks for hosting!
Thank so much for hosting! I shared a Chocolate Pumpkin Cake recipe (sprouted gluten-free flour & egg-free). It’s super moist and chocolaty. Thanks again!

Hi,
I shared my famous grain-free party franks! Thanks for hosting!
I hope it’s okay that I linked up a few recipes. They are all from this week and gluten free. I LOVE finding new blogs and recipes here, thanks so much!
What a good way to start a Wednesday with these luscious chocolate recipes! My link today is Applesauce Cake with Cherries and Walnuts. It’s GF,CF and can easiy be nut-free, too. It’s an old family recipe that was simple to adapt to gluten-free.
I love coming here and finding new, creative gluten-free recipes 🙂
Good morning Linda, I’m sharing a recipe for Huevos Rancheros, a perfect brunch idea for the day after Christmas or as we Canadian like to call it Boxing Day. I also reached back in my archives for some gluten free dessert ideas. Unfortunately they are not dairy free. Have a great week.
I shared my Cranberry Banana Smoothie this week. Have a great week!
Hey Linda, your Sweet Potato Pone looks like hash browns. Yum! Must check out further. 🙂
I had hoped to link up a recipe that I’ll be sharing for Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake, but it’s not quite ready for sharing, so I’ve linked up my posts for the last two entries for our Home for the Holidays … Gluten-Free Style event. Each “pointer” post from me also has info on gluten-free cookbooks. Can’t wait until it’s your turn to share your recipe with us all for the event!
Thanks for hosting each week, and highlighting those wonderful sounding recipes! 😉
Shirley
Hi! I shared my Grandma’s Chestnut Stuffing recipe adapted for the SCD today! Have a lovely week and thank you for hosting!
Hi Linda – so sorry to be linking so late in the day. I made a completely nut-free and coconut-free version of my Crunchy Bittersweet Chocolate Bites, using sunbutter and sunflower seeds. Gluten-free & dairy-free of course. 🙂
