Hi everyone! The new year is off to a cold start for many of us. I look forward to seeing what warm, comforting, nourishing, or just plain tasty recipes you have to share this week.
Recipe Roundups
At the start of the new year, I like to roundup some of my recipes from the previous year. So far I’ve gathered together main dish, dessert, and bread & breakfast recipes.
Ronzoni GF Pasta & Southwestern Penne Recipe
I recently tried Ronzoni gluten-free pasta for the first time and was impressed. If you haven’t tried it yet, be sure to read my review. And whether you’ve tried the pasta or not, you’ll want to get the Southwestern Penne recipe.
Last Week’s Highlights
It was a small party last week due to the holiday, so I’m going to only highlight two. If you were too busy to stop by, be sure to check out what others linked up.
Mujadara (Lebanese Lentils & Rice) – Raia’s Recipes
Purple Cabbage Slaw – My Little Jar of Spices
My Submission
Since we didn’t have the carnival Christmas week, I’m sharing a recipe from that week. This grain free coffee cake is great for the holidays, but makes a delicious breakfast or snack any time!
If you get this post by email, remember to click over to the site later in the day or sometime tomorrow to see what great ideas have been gathered here.
The Carnival

- Thanks for participating!
Note: I may choose to use your submitted photo if sharing your link on Facebook or highlighting it in next week’s post. If you have a problem with that, please let me know.
Thanks so much for hosting! Stay warm!

I hope you have a great week!
Hi Linda,
It certainly IS cold this week — but today is warmer than yesterday, which we’re pretty happy about. I like year-end round-ups, too, so I’ve linked my post about the Top 12 GF Main Dishes of 2013.
Have a great week and stay warm —
Pat
Hi Linda–Still loving the look of that coffee cake! I think it will be perfect to serve as dessert at my next support group meeting. 🙂
I’ve linked up an older post, my Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies, which are a very fine way to use overripe bananas and warm up the house. 😉 And, I’ve linked up my latest post, my 5-year gfe anniversary post because it does talk about seeing better resolutions/goals for 2014 (and forever), which include food. 🙂

Thanks for hosting Linda! 🙂 I linked up an Almond Pastry Detox Smoothie – time to cleanse from the holiday fare!!
Thanks for hosting, Linda!
This week I shared my husband’s technique for slow-cooker chicken plus bone broth.
Hi Linda! It has been a while since I’ve been over to link up and it’s good to be back! I hope your holidays were happy and that you’ve had a great start to the year.
Today I’m sharing my Sweet Popeye Nectar. Enjoy the rest of your week!
