Thanksgiving is less than a week away, and I know everyone is thinking about what gluten-free recipes they will use. This week I’m taking a break from the weekly menu and sharing some gluten-free Thanksgiving meal ideas.
And be sure to check out the Gluten-Free Recipe Fix where you’ll find close to 70 Thanksgiving recipes linked up there.
Turkey
Fresh turkey is gluten free, but gluten can be introduced when cooking if flour is added to an oven bag or stuffing is put in the bird. You can read more about keeping your turkey gluten free here.
It’s easy to find recipes for roasting a turkey, but if you’re interested in cooking only a turkey breast (a good option for additional meat or a smaller gathering), try this slow cooker turkey breast.
Side Dishes
I have a whole bunch of ideas for Thanksgiving side dishes so I’ve sub divided them. There’s something here for everyone.
I don’t have a recipe for green bean casserole, but I like to make a gluten and dairy free version using homemade cream of mushroom soup and ALDI Live Gfree Fried Onion Rings.

Ruth, I’m not sure what you mean by bread crust mix. Can you explain better and let me know what it will be used for?
