I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas. I sure did. I just love spending time with my family, and I’m so happy to have girls around (and girls to buy presents for) since two of my sons got married. And did I tell you? I’m also expecting a granddaughter in February! I’m excited. I’m really, really excited! ๐
On to this week’s gluten-free menu plan. Well, it seems like I always say this, but there are some favorite recipes lined up this week. The Salisbury steak is a great way to dress up ground beef. You know I love cooking a whole chicken in the slow cooker and then having leftovers to use in a second meal. The salmon chowder is dairy free and delicious and would be great for New Year’s Eve.
The coconut cashew clove balls would be a nice dessert for a New Year’s Eve party, and try one of the breakfast ideas for New Year’s Day. Also, I’ll be sharing an appetizer recipe with you tomorrow that would be perfect for a party.
Main Dish Ideas
Slow Cooker Chicken and Vegetables
Slow Cooker Beef and Green Beans
So glad you had such a special Christmas! I can’t imagine your excitement on your grandbaby, and adding another girl to the family! All the meal ideas look great, of course. I can personally vouch for the two I’ve eaten–the Salmon Chowder and the Coconut Cashew Clove Cookies. ๐
