The first two meals on this gluten-free menu plan would make great food for watching the game tomorrow. But if you just want appetizer type finger foods and missed my Game Day Recipes round up the other day, be sure to check it out. It also includes a few dessert ideas.
Two of the meals in the menu plan (Sloppy Joes and Salmon Chowder) have links in the post where you can find wine pairings for those specific recipes at Wine4.Me. Wine4.Me is an iPhone app that helps you find wines you will like based on what you already know you like.
The recipes in this menu plan are all gluten free. I also provide suggestions for dairy free and grain free diets for those who are interested.
Weekly Gluten-Free Menu Plan
Baked Macaroni & Cheese with steamed broccoli – Use a cheese substitute for dairy free, but you might want to add another protein source to the meal. For grain free, go with something completely different such as zucchini noodles and pasta sauce.
Beef & Bean Casserole – Use dairy free substitutes (cheese can also be omitted). Use arrowroot starch for thickening for grain free.
Chicken Cacciatore (Slow Cooker) with Rice and Salad – For grain free, omit the rice and thicken with arrowroot starch.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups – A great Valentine’s Day Treat!
