There is a line up of really delicious recipes in this week’s gluten-free meal plan. They’re all family tested and approved (even by gluten eaters) from Chicken Parmesan to Biscuit Crust Pizza.
The next phase of my life has begun. All my kids have moved out and my parents have moved in. We’re getting settled into a new routine, and I’m doing more cooking once again. So far it has worked for my parents to eat gluten free, which makes things easier on me in some ways but requires a little more cooking and creativity on my part.
Since I know that my mom’s brother had celiac disease, I’m curious to see whether a gluten-free diets makes any difference for my mom. It certainly doesn’t hurt!
Slow Cooker Beef and Mushroom Gravy – The beef turns out super tender and the gravy is delicious served over rice, pasta, or potatoes.

Fish Sticks – This takes a little effort, but it’s worth it. Especially if you have kids who will love this finger food.
Biscuit Crust Pizza – The biscuit crust doesn’t require rise time, and this recipe really lends itself to making individual pizzas so everyone can put on the toppings they want.
Roasted Cauliflower – Now that the weather is a little cooler, I’m turning on my oven more. And roasting vegetables is one of my favorite ways to eat them.
Butternut Squash Soup – I love putting a little potato for thickening and apple for flavor in my soup.
Applesauce Muffins – These are perfect for fall and make a great breakfast or snack.
Apple Coffee Cake – The paleo recipe is moist and delicious!
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars – Peanut butter and chocolate make these bars delicious. They’re definitely a sugary treat.
