You’ll find delicious family tested recipes in this weeks’ gluten-free meal plan. From soup and stew to fish sticks and calzones, there’s something for everyone. And the apple coffee cake and pumpkin bars are two of my favorite fall treats.
Slow Cooker Chicken and Vegetables – You could try different vegetables or simply leave them out and just cook the chicken. You really can’t go wrong, and it’s so easy!
Chicken and Broccoli Chowder – We always love this chowder, which works great with a milk substitute. It’s a good way to use leftover chicken.
California Pilaf – This is perfect for a busy weeknight.
Slow Cooker Beef Stew – This recipe is always delicious. My parents like how tender the beef is when slow cooked.
Fish Sticks – There are a few steps to this recipe, but it’s so good, and kids will love it.
Calzones – This one takes a little more work than some recipes, but you will be glad you did it!
Zucchini with Walnuts – I’m still getting fresh zucchini from our local farm stand, and I love it this way.
Winter Vegetable Soup – There is something about a creamy blended soup that my family and I love so much better than chunks of vegetables. This soup is no exception, and if you add in some cooked sausage, you can make a meal out of it.
Smoked Sweet Potatoes – If you don’t have a smoker, use your oven (directions in the recipe). It’s still delicious.
Baked Oatmeal – My mom especially loves this recipe, maybe because she’s partial to apple butter.
Apple Coffee Cake – This grain-free recipe is moist and tasty and has fewer carbs than most coffee cakes.
Apple Pie Bites – A perfect seasonal treat!
Paleo Pumpkin Bars – Soft and moist, these bars are great for a dessert or snack.
