This week’s gluten-free meal plan includes family friendly slow cooker and stove top meals to help keep heat in the kitchen to a minimum.
With Independence Day this week, I’m sure there will be plenty of grilling and pot luck parties going on. And the fruit pizza is always a beautiful and delicious dessert that everyone loves!
Main Dish Ideas
The slow cooker makes easy work of this Chicken and Brown Rice. It’s a great way to cook brown rice, giving it plenty of time to absorb liquid and get soft.
Use a large skillet for Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry, which is a family favorite. Be sure to use gluten-free soy sauce, and for those who are soy free like me, use coconut aminos.
If you’re a fan of short ribs, these Slow Cooker Mexican Beef Short Ribs are super easy and tasty!
Italian Sausage and Pasta is so easy, and it’s always a hit. Just be sure to read the label and get gluten-free sausage.
Cheeseburger Rice is a fun and simple meal that kids really like. It’s healthier than fast food and it’s quick to make yourself.
Side Dish Ideas

Southwestern Pasta is a pasta salad variation using gluten-free pasta, and it makes a great summer side dish.
Breakfast Ideas
Overnight Oats are so simple to make, and they’re an easy way to have a grab-and-go breakfast or snack. You can also vary the ingredients to your taste.
These Zucchini Pancakes are grain-free and a great way to use fresh zucchini from your garden, CSA box, or the farmer’s market.
Dessert Ideas
Use any fresh fruit you like in any design you want for this delicious and beautiful gluten-free Fruit Pizza.
Homemade Ice Cream is quite simple to make, contains no additives, and tastes great!
