There are several slow cooker recipes lined up in this week’s gluten-free meal plan, making it easy to get dinner on the table in the evening.
Last weekend we were hit by a blizzard which left us with almost two feet of snow (that’s a lot here in the DC area). Thinking it likely that we would lose power, I planned a few slow cooker meals that I could make using our generator. It turned out that we didn’t lose power, but we still enjoyed the crock pot meals. One of them was the beans and bacon that I have on this week’s meal plan, and it really hit the spot on a cold snowy evening. I hope you enjoy it too.
