You’ll find several of my family’s favorite recipes in this week’s gluten-free meal plan. And there are some delicious homemade cookie ideas for your Christmas baking!
Main Dish
Slow Cooker Chicken and Vegetables – A great go-to dinner that’s easy to make and you can vary the vegetables according to what you have. Get a chicken large enough to have leftovers but make sure it will fit in your crock.
Chicken and Broccoli Chowder – This is a great way to use leftover chicken. It’s been a favorite in our house for years.
Turkey Meatballs in White Sauce – This is one of my husband’s favorite recipes, and my parents really enjoy it too.
Slow Cooker Meatloaf and Potatoes – Meatloaf in the oven can take quite a while to bake. Using the slow cooker gives you more flexibility and the potatoes get cooked along with it.
Spanish Rice with Sausage – This is an easy and flavorful stove top meal.
Biscuit Crust Pizza – The biscuit crust doesn’t require rise time, so it’s an easier homemade pizza version.
Sides
Roasted Red Potatoes – Always yummy and goes with many meals.
Skillet Zoodles and Veggies – If you’re looking for a new way to serve veggies, zoodles can be fun.
Cranberry Salad – This is a colorful and flavorful side salad. It was a big hit at Thanksgiving this year, and I’m taking it to a holiday party this weekend.
Breakfast
Potato Latkes – These potato pancakes are delicious.
Blueberry Coconut Flour Muffins – A grain free and lower carb muffin that’s great for breakfast or snacks.
Dessert
Here are several homemade cookies that are fun to make and perfect for Christmas parties.
Cracker Cookies – My husband loves these. I use grain free almond crackers but other small gluten-free crackers could be used.
