Enchilada Sauce



  1. Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chili powder. Heat and stir for one minute.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth and heat to boiling.
  4. Add the garlic powder and onion powder.
  5. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water.
  6. Slowly add the water to the boiling mixture, whisking continually to avoid lumps.
  7. Heat to a boil and simmer for several minutes.
  8. Stir in the tomato sauce, taste, and add salt as needed.
  9. Makes 2 1/4 cups
