I have been baking gluten-free cakes from scratch since I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Whether is was for birthday parties for my kids, a holiday, or just as a treat, I’ve made quite a few cakes in those 15 years. These 10 gluten-free cake recipes have topped the charts not only at my house but with friends and family as well, gluten free or not.
What a fabulous assortment of cakes! Yours are the best, Linda. 🙂 Sharing …

Hi Linda my name is jenny I was diagnosed with celiac disease about 6 months or so I’m trying to get used to eating gultin free foods . And how hard is to order out. I want to know what is a good way of cooking pasta without all that nasty water thank you
Hi Jenny, I’m not sure what you mean by “all that nasty water.” I cook my gluten-free pasta in a pot of water according the directions on the package. If the water seems “nasty” then maybe you need to try a different brand.
Question: Can amaranth flour be toasted in a skillet or in the oven I have food sensitivities and am on a rotation diet I toast the amaranth grain in a skillet before I cook it. I am wondering if I can do the same with the flour to get rid of what to me tastes like a raw flour even though I am using it to bake muffins
Carol, I’m sorry but I have no idea. I’ve never toasted any kind of flour and I don’t use amaranth. I guess you’ll have to experiment.
