I like to drink smoothies year round, but when the weather turns hot, like it did last week, I drink them even more. This Almond Matcha Superfood Smoothie is authored by Danielle Walker of Against All Grain. I have her cookbook, Against All Grain: Delectable Paleo Recipes to Eat Well & Feel Great, and love the recipes I have tried.
I have not tried matcha green tea powder, which is used in this recipe, but I’m sure the smoothie is delicious, even if not as beneficial, without it. Matcha is full of antioxidants and can also boost your energy, so I’ve read. So you might just want to give it a try.
