Pineapple Cinnamon Chicken (Slow Cooker)

Pineapple Cinnamon Chicken

As you can tell from the name, pineapple cinnamon chicken is full of flavor, and it’s incredibly easy to prepare.

The nice thing about slow cookers is that you can put the food in and then forget about it.  If you cook rice ahead and freeze it, or simply make a double batch the evening before, you can put a meal together in minutes in the evening.

  1. Ooohhhhh, this looks good. I’m pinning it right now to make this week! Thanks!!!

  2. Looks good! Bob loves chicken and I run out ways to prepare it.

  3. Great recipe. But it is soooo sweet for a dinner meal. I would suggest putting something sour in to balance the sweetness…. maybe some lemon or lime.

    • My husband does not like sweet and sour at all, but some lemon might be a good idea. You could also reduce the amount of honey. Thanks for your suggestion.

  5. I put (rinsed)millet in the bottom of the crock pot with coconut milk covering it, (about twice the amount of milk to grain). I was careful to not disturb the millet too much while I placed the chicken and pineapple mixture over it. Yum!
