Links Linda Likes

If you are spending some time browsing the web this weekend, here are links to some pages I recently found.  This list is not limited to food.  They are simply things that interested me.  I really like animals and pictures of them, particularly dogs and birds.  If you take time to look at any of these links, let me know which ones you like.

Food: These food pages are not necessarily gluten free, but those that aren’t can pretty easily be adapted to be gluten free.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Pie
Homemade Chocolate Bar
Making naked eggs (something kids might like to do)

Dogs & Birds:  These are all photos

I have a crust recipe that might be used in place of a graham cracket crust. I was going to make a rice flour crust when I found I was too short of rice flour. So I grabbed my Bob's Red Mill pancake mix instead. It works for apple and cherry pies.

    1 & 1/2 c. pancake mix 2 room temp eggs
1/2 cup melted and cooled butter/oleo

Haven't tried it like this yet. Only me and have to make smaller things that can be frozen. ~ Margaret
