Labor Day Cookout Recipes

This week we’ve had a break from the heat and humidity which was a great blessing while we were without electricity.  I hate the heat and my body does not handle it well.  So Labor Day for me is a time to celebrate the end of summer heat.  While me might still have some pretty hot days in September, the general trend is toward cooler temperatures.

Since the weather is still warm, people often have grilled food on labor day.  I’ll leave the meat up to you and your grill and give you some ideas for side dishes and desserts.  However, if you need bread to go with that burger or pulled pork, my gluten-free hamburger buns are a real winner.
