Hi everyone!  I hope you’re having a great week.  Whether you’re adding a link or simply looking through them, I’m glad you’ve come to enjoy this blog carnival.

If you get this post by email, remember to click over to the site later in the day or sometime tomorrow to see what great ideas have been gathered here.

Back to School: If you have gluten-free kids who are getting back to school, check out this round-up of lunch ideas.

Monthly Theme: This is the last week for August’s theme of grilled food.  The theme is just a suggestion, not a requirement, but I do look for theme related recipes to highlight each week.  September’s theme is pasta.

Last Week’s Highlights:

Grilled Watermelon & Chicken Spinach Salad – GF Skinny Chef
Grilled Flank Steak – MJ’s Kitchen
Herbed Turkey Burgers with Zucchini Buns – Queen of Quinoa

My Submission:

Low-Carb Meatballs

Hi Linda — I’m always looking for a lower-carb meatball, so I’m glad to see your recipe. They look good! My link today is also for a beef dish — it’s Shepherds Pie. Hardly low-carb, but my family sure does like it. Where has August gone?

Hey Linda – Thanks so much for featuring my flank steak! It’s a perfect recipe for a meal and leftover meals. Hope you’re having a wonderful week. Thanks for hosting!

Good morning Linda, thanks so much for highlighting my Grilled Watermelon Salad!! I had it for dinner twice last week so I can attest to it’s yumminess. I posted my Skinny GF Low Glycemic Ranger Cookies…see mystery post on #21 but my picture didn’t work. That’s what I get for doing this at 8:30 in the morning. Have a wonderful day, hugs Ali

Hi Linda–Wow, what a variety of posts today! I’ve linked up my August Virtual Support Group meeting, sharing Paleo Parents’ presentation at our annual picnic, my group’s review of their presentation and cookbook, Eat Like a Dinosaur, and more. It was a fun, tasty, and educational time for sure!

    Thanks for hosting!

Linda, I’m sharing my quick and easy recipe for Baked Tilapia with Herbs this week. This is one of those recipes we enjoy when it is too hot in the summer to be using the oven much :) Hope you have a great week!
