Gluten-Free Wednesdays 8-11-10

Gluten-Free Wednesdays2

Welcome back to Gluten-Free Wednesdays!  I hope your August is going well.  If you haven’t made a pesto yet this month, consider trying something new and creative (or old and traditional) as part of this month’s create a pesto challenge.  Link up your pesto ideas here any week this month.

Earlier this week I posted July’s carnival review which is full of great links.  Last week we had several delicious looking dessert recipes.  Be sure to take a look if you missed them:

My submission this week is a pesto recipe you might want to try:

Hi Linda! In honor of August Pesto month, I linked up my Pistachio Pesto Crusted Chicken!
Thanks so much for hosting! I cannot wait to try that Broccoli Pesto Recipe! Yum!

  2. gfe--gluten free easily says:

Linda, no pesto making here yet, but I plan to! I never thought of broccoli pesto, but why not? ;-)

I linked up another unconventional GF Wed post. This one with a brief review of anothers bloggers' posts and some discussion on food as it relates to someone with gluten issues.

  3. Mmmmm – I love pesto. I've been meaning to try an arugula pesto for a few days now. Your version looks super tasty.

I love a good pesto and I still have a good recipe to post when time allows. This week is a chocolate lovers dream, GF Dutch Oven Brownies. Thanks for hosting!!

  5. Rogene says:

First time trying this. At least I got everything posted OK — I hope! It's so hot here right now we're not doing a lot of cooking. Sort of living on salads. That's why I posted a few salad ideas. I'm not a good pesto maker.

  6. Brenna Kater, the Oceanskater says:

Thankfully, I created a pesto a few weeks ago!

  7. Tia @ Glugle Gluten-Free says:

I linked my post about basic, GF,DF Ice Cream and making Sea's Chocolate mousse (raw, gf, df). I can't wait to try your broccoli pesto. It sounds tasty. I just made first attempt at pesto the other night because I didn't know what to do with a bunch of basil I had. Now, I have to try again and document.

    xoxo,
    Tia :P
