Gluten-Free Wednesdays 5-1-13

Fresh Food

Happy May!  I don’t know about you, but I love the month of May.  Flowers are in bloom, weather is mild, and kids are finishing school. It’s just an all around nice month, and here we are kicking it off with this Gluten-Free Wednesdays carnival.

I’m sure you have some great gluten-free eating ideas to share with us, so leave your link (with a link back in your post) and take a look at the other links that are shared.

Using Mason Jars

I shared about some new Mason jars I bought and how I like to use them.  I’d love to hear your ideas for using Mason jars.

Gluten-Free Menu

If you need weekly menu ideas, here are is this week’s gluten-free menu plan.  The May menu will be coming up later this week.

    Hi Linda,

Thank you for highlighting my Green Bean Salad recipe!

This week I shared my recipe for Macadamia and Dried Cherry Cookies. This is a great cookie that is gluten free and not too sweet.

    Thanks for hosting!

Hey Linda–I’ve linked up Green Chile Chicken Casserole, that’s perfect for Cinco de Mayo or any time. It’s so easy and so good! :-) I’ve also linked up my post on making almond milk in less than 3 minutes. I love this method!

Thanks for hosting! I love that you made Laura’s Banana Cream Pie so large in your collage. That’s my choice for sure. 😉

Thank you for highlighting my cheesy lentils recipe! Today I come empty handed. Since last Wednesday, I have been writing (and re-writing) the same post about ethically created clothing. While it was 86F yesterday in Southwest Iowa, we’re expecting snow tonight. Maybe I should stick to the kitchen, eh? Have a great week!

If you have a question about a recipe (especially substitutions and nutritional information), please read my FAQ page before asking the question in a comment.
