Gluten-Free Wednesdays 4-11-12

Gluten-Free Wednesdays button
Hi everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend.  I did, although it was full of young men hanging out here for hours on Saturday and then several came again for Easter Dinner on Sunday.  By Sunday night I was ready for a Jane Austen movie!

Thanks for stopping by here for this gluten-free carnival.  I hope you share a link and visit some that interest you.

Monthly Theme: April’s theme is lemons.  I’ll be looking for lemon recipes to highlight this month.  I’ll be sharing my lemony recipe with you next week.

Last Week’s Highlights:

Chocolate Crepes with Lemon Cream Sauce – Live Free, Gluten Free
Hail Merry Lemon Tart Knock-Off – Tessa the Domestic Diva
Individual Lemon Cheesecakes – Grandma Farmer
Lightly Lemon Coffee Cake – Raia’s Recipes
Roasted Asparagus Soup – The Tasty Alternative

My Submission:  This week I don’t have an exact recipe, but a list of ingredients that can be used in making this ham salad.  It’s a great way to use leftover ham.

    Hi Linda,
Today I’ve linked Crockpot Split Pea Soup that’s GFCF. We like it because of the flavor, and also because it’s so easy to make — 10 minutes to prepare, and the crockpot does the rest. After a busy holiday weekend, that’s especially nice.

If you have a question about a recipe (especially substitutions and nutritional information), please read my FAQ page before asking the question in a comment.
