Gluten-Free Wednesdays 10-9-13

Fresh Food

Happy fall! (I’m really glad to have cool weather again after a week of upper 80s and even 90 on Sunday.)  Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to seeing the different types of recipes we get with each season, especially fall.

Gluten-Free AND Healthy

This is a new mini-series I’m doing. Read this post to see a recent picture of me and find out how much weight I lost.

Harvest Your Health Bundle

This week there is a eBook bundle that is being offered at a great price. The bundle is full of useful eBooks and other items, and many of them include gluten-free recipes. Find out exactly what’s included and order the bundle in this post.

I’m all for the pumpkin recipe highlights! I want to make every one of those. :-) And I love those kale chips. For now, I’m linking up my review of Ricki’s new cookbook Naturally Sweet & Gluten Free with her delish Autumn Fruit Crumble recipe. 😉

    Hi Linda,
Your kale chips look delicious! I’d like to try some of those plus those features — they all look really tempting. In keeping with the pumpkin recipes, my link this week is Cream of Pumpkin Soup.

Thank you for featuring the Made to Glow Chocolate Pumpkin Parfait! I can’t wait to try the other pumpkin recipes as I am loving pumpkin right now, too. I also want to try your kale chips which look so good. Thank you for sharing!

You need to follow your doctor’s guidelines regardless of whether the food is gluten free or not. Many gluten-free foods have lots of starches and therefore carbs in them. However, I know that many of the recipes linked up here use whole foods and natural sweeteners. They all come from different web sites, so you will have to visit them and see for yourself if it is something you can eat. Thanks for stopping by.

If you have a question about a recipe (especially substitutions and nutritional information), please read my FAQ page before asking the question in a comment.
