Gluten-Free Wednesdays 1-1-14

Fresh Food

Happy New Year! I have to admit that I’m still caught up in holiday craziness. We didn’t have our last family gathering until Monday evening. So, I’m just going to put this post up with the linky code and not much more. Since we didn’t have the carnival last week, there aren’t highlights anyway.

Thanks for stopping by at this holiday time to participate!

Happy New Year, Linda! I didn’t think you’d have GFW today so this is a pleasant surprise. No need for any “frills”! 😉 Glad you’re still enjoying the holidays. I like the British version of pigs in a blanket. I have some pigs in the freezer that I’ve been uninspired to use; this idea is a great way to use them. :-)

I’ve linked up my post on making substitutions with a really helpful tip and a funny example of how badly substitutions can go, all of which you saw already and chuckled at, of course. Hehe.

    Have a good week!

Linda, I came back to link up my roundup of candy cane & peppermint recipes on All Gluten-Free Desserts. I had forgotten about that, but it might come in handy for those with leftover candy canes they want to use. :-)

I might even get my Top 10 posts up and share those later. 😉 It’s been hard to get out of my “take it easy” holiday groove mindset. LOL

If you have a question about a recipe (especially substitutions and nutritional information), please read my FAQ page before asking the question in a comment.
