Gluten-Free Menu Plan 2-22-14

Although this winter has been much colder than usual, and I’m not particularly enjoying that, I do enjoy winter cooking. I like making chilis and soups and turning on my oven to bake chicken and quiche.

You’ll find all of those in this week’s gluten-free menu plan along with delicious pizza, vegetables soup, and dump cake.

The hamburger spinach quiche is one of my favorite recipes, though I prefer the flavor when made with my homemade breakfast sausage. I often make it without any crust, but the quiche recipe includes links to crust options if you want them.

Hi Linda. Course recipes look fantastic. I am wondering if you will be doing GF and low fodmap recipes in the future? I am coeliac but also have developed problems with sugars in fruits and vegetables. I do have 1 fodmap diet book, but it would be nice to be able to have a more varied recipe collection.

    • Hi Jackie. I’m not that familiar with the low fodmap diet. My recipes are not specifically catered to that, but I’m sure some of them would work. Many of my newer recipes are grain free and/or paleo which may make them more likely to work for you.

If you have a question about a recipe (especially substitutions and nutritional information), please read my FAQ page before asking the question in a comment.
