Gluten Free Menu 11-25-12

My brother enjoys cooking and does most of it while we’re all together for several days at Thanksgiving.  It’s a nice break for me, but I contributed to the Thanksgiving meal with my roasted sweet  potatoes with coconut, cranberry salad, and pumpkin pie.

We had a great time together, and I hope you had an enjoyable holiday too.

Be sure to be on the lookout for December’s menu plan link in your email or RSS feed later this week.

Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Mushrooms, & Broccoli – We had a birthday in the family last week and this was the requested dinner.  Everyone enjoyed it.

potato chowder

Potato Chowder & Salad – I was reminded how much my family loves this soup when I made it last week.  It has too many carbs for a couple of us,so I made extra sausage and only at a little of the soup.

Chuck Roast, Potatoes, & Green Beans – The was the first meal of our family gathering.  The beef and potatoes were roasted in the oven.  My brother made butternut squash soup and a coconut Thai soup.  I made brownies and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Thanksgiving Dinner – Lots of food!

Prime Rib, Baked Potatoes, & Asparagus – The prime rib was delicious.  All of it was delicious, but I skipped the baked potato.
