Italian Sausage and Pasta

Italian Sausage and Pasta

This stovetop meal is relatively quick and easy to prepare, and it has plenty of flavor.  My family enjoyed it, especially since broccoli is our favorite vegetable.

This would typically be a summer time meal for us, but this winter has been much warmer than usual.  I’ve prepared fewer soups, stews, and casseroles than I normally would.

Maybe it’s warm where you are, maybe not.  It’s good food whenever you eat it.

Linda, I’m curious about the sausage that you used. Did you make it from scratch or purchase it? If you purchased it, did you ask the butcher if it was gluten-free or did you buy a pre-packaged brand that is gluten-free. Its my understanding that flour is used in making the casing of the sausage.

Would love to learn what you know about it.

    Thanks! Tracy

I think it was prepackaged, and if flour was used in the casing it would have to be declared on the label. I always read labels carefully. Neither my son nor I have problems with it. Sorry I can’t give you more information.

  2. that looks yummy!

That looks yummy! It has been WAY warmer here in OK than previous winters . . . this may be weird, but we’re hoping that we do get some cold weather for the sake of the animals and pasture in the coming summer (or we’ll go through a drought like TX is!).

    Anyway . . .
