Happy August! It’s hard to believe that kids will be heading back to school soon. It’s been a hot summer for many of us, and personally, I’m ready for fall weather.
However, I’ve been enjoying all the summer recipes that you guys have linked up here, and I’ve been having fun experimenting with beverages. I hope you have too.
Giveaway: This week’s giveaway is some really healthy salad dressings.
Monthly Theme: If you didn’t read the post, I’m ending the monthly cooking/baking challenges, but I will continue with a monthly theme for the carnival. The theme for August is fruit desserts!

Hi Linda – my submission this week is a little odd – but I swear the flavors are good. The texture is definitely more of an acquired taste, but then again so is chia pudding in general.
I cannot wait for this heat to let up!!!
This week I shared a recipe that is fast, easy, and since most of the ingredients came from my garden, frugal: a veggie frittata. Thanks for hosting!
Hi Linda,
Thanks for mentioning my Shake To Go! This week I shared my Almond Date Energy Bar with a video!
I’m sharing a delicious “stew” that takes minutes to whip up, when life is stressful and a little comfort food is in order but the time is not. We all have days like that!
Thanks for hosting! This is my first time posting here
I shared a Peach Ice Cream with a dairy-free option. It’s full of flavor, creamy and simply delicious.
I’m late to the party this week but boy, does the party fare look good!
Hope there’s some left for me.
I’m linking up Chocolate Beer Muffins, which are surprisingly healthy with the flour being oat flour, etc. There are lots of variations included with this recipe and I also did a review of Only Oats Decadent Chocolate Muffins Mix, which was my part of my inspiration for this recipe and the others.
Happy Wednesday all!
Shirley
Thanks for hosting this party each week!
I’ve linked up my green lentil salad this week because it’s perfect for the Summer weather we’ve been having in the UK. I’ve also linked my Raspberry Ripple Frozen yogurt as a fruit dessert since it’s made with frozen or fresh raspberries! Lovely recipes to explore this week! Thank you for hosting.
