Gluten-Free Wednesdays 3/9/11

Gluten-Free Wednesdays button

Gluten-Free Wednesdays has been growing and I so appreciate everyone’s participation.  There would be no carnival without you!

Giveaway: This week I am giving away a copy of the eBook, The Gluten Free Survival Guide by Mary Frances and John Pickett.

Monthly Challenge: There is no challenge this month. Instead, I am hosting Go Ahead Honey, It’s Gluten Free with the theme of seasonal soup.  That means I will be looking for soup recipes to highlight here.

Last Week’s Highlights: This week I’m still highlighting bread recipes from February’s challenge, but start linking up the soup recipes for next week.

Vegan Potato Bread – Without Adornment
Dairy Free Miracle Sandwich Bread – Maid in Alaska
Miracle Multigrain Mini Bread Loaf – Maid in Alaska
Oatmeal Millet Bread (dairy free) – Maid in Alaska

My Submission: This week I have a tasty dairy free breakfast recipe to share with you.

  1. Hi Linda,
Here is Chicken with Cannellini Beans, Tomatoes & Italian Parsley to start off the carnival table — it’s gluten-free, casein-free, corn-free and more, but still has lots of flavor that’s quick and easy to prepare.

Seasonal soups will be fun to work on this month! I hope to find some great ideas here –

  2. Hi Linda! I haven’t had a chance to play with my bread recipe yet, so I’m sharing one of my favorite soups! Pork Pozole is an incredible soup and what is really fun about it are all of the different toppings.
    Thanks for hosting!

I love soups, I mean really truly. I am not one of those foul-weather soup lovers, I love soup even when it is fair! I will be back next week with a new creation; thanks for the inspiration.

  4. I’ll definitely be back with soup next week, but for today I am sharing chewy granola bars. I re-invented these bars to be healthier and they turned out even more delicious than I remember them. :-) I love it when that happens! ;-)

It looks like we’ll a lot of bread options from here to go with our soup and pretty much everything else to make a great meal, too … now or later. Thanks for hosting, Linda!

  5. I added a review of a local bakery’s gluten free vegan cupcakes. uh–yeah they taste AWESOME~! :D

  6. Thank you, Linda, for hosting the yeast bread challenge!

Hi Linda! It is always so inspiring for me to come visit and see just how many wonderful things you can eat when gluten free! I am linking up a recipe for Mexican-Italian Fusion pasta bake that I made with brown rice noodles. All the best, Alex
